MY TEACHER PAGE

My passion for teaching comes out of my great interest in literature, learning, and people. I enjoy every minute in the English classroom because it allows all of its participants to speak safely and openly about who they are and how they see the world. I firmly believe in using the classroom as a tool for exploration, empowerment, inquiry, and discovery so as to gain confidence in one self, make your voice be heard, and build a greater empathy towards others. 

As a teacher of twenty two years in the boroughs of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx, I have been very fortunate to have met so many interesting, passionate, curious, and determined individuals who continue to invigorate and inspire me on a daily basis. 

I reside in the Bronx with my wife, two children, and two cats. I love reading, cooking, music, and aimlessly running on the trails of Van Cortlandt park. My family and I love exploring all that the Bronx and New York City has to offer. I look forward to seeing you in the classroom!
