Hey Bronxdale!!! My name is Ms. Morrison. I was born, raised, and schooled in The Bronx. It is my own experiences as students in The Bronx and working as a paraprofessional for the Department of Education that made me realize I wanted to pursue a career in teaching. Last year, I joined The New York City Teaching Collaboration where I am currently working on my Masters in Special Education. For me teaching in my community is a great opportunity to work with students who share some of the same upbringing and experiences as myself. It is also a way to contribute to my community which I love. As an educator, I am dedicated to supporting all learners’ academically, social, and emotional growth. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, vacationing, fishing, and listening to music.  One of my goals is to provide students with the nurture and critical skills needed to thrive in life beyond the classroom.
