My name is MJ Islas. I’m originally from Southern California. I’ve been married for 16 years. My husband is from Mexico. We have 3 kids and 3 cats. We moved to NYC (the 2nd time) in August 2018.  I am licensed to teach Art, Spanish, and Computer Science. I have my Masters in Art Education. I am fluent in Spanish and I am learning Mandarin (Chinese) just for fun. I enjoy art, reading, cooking, sports, and weightlifting.
